The client wanted a traditional and timeless kitchen that suited their character home. It needed to be simple and practical but include traditional features that were minimalist.

A simple black and white colour palette was the perfect choice for this kitchen. The warmth from the feather white cabinetry was chosen to compliment the rich original wooden floors.

Granite stone was chosen because it adds unparalleled texture and dimensions compared to engineered stones.

Archant meano handles were chosen because of their character which is a blend of charm and strength. The top cabinets were kept handle free to ensure the kitchen wasn’t overwhelmed by hardware.

Dezignatek thermal wrapped cabinetry was used for its durability. The Rhonda profile was chosen to add a traditional charm to the design but also because it was on point with their minimalist design aesthetic .

The main working area of the kitchen was kept to the back wall allowing the island to be clear and to create a second casual dining area.
