Taking the coffee world by storm, Indonesia based EXPAT. Roasters have relocated their flagship café and retail experience in Seminyak Bali to larger premises. With bold branding on the mesh wrapped facade as well as in the interior, a retail display greets customers as they enter the store. Immediately the customer is immersed into the ‘story’ of EXPAT. Roasters and their founders’ philosophy to coffee roasting. A custom detailed coffee machine sits proudly on a black metal and concrete bench, and is wrapped with a communal table and stools encouraging customers to interact with the barista in the shared zone. A large banquette seat lines the opposite wall, inviting customers to stay, learn more and indulge in a meal with their coffee.
Their dedication to precision and perfection drove the look and feel of the space. The final result included high end finishes such as green terrazzo incorporating their brand colour, hot rolled black metal and leather, these finishes complemented their signature concrete embossed logo and timber joinery.

The Markets Club was awarded Silver in the interior design - eat and drink category, 2023. Both projects were elevated from Gold and Silver respectively from the 2022 Sydney Design Awards.
