Experiencing significant growth, Garmin Technologies, a global leader in GPS navigation and wearable technology, sought to expand their warehouse operations to the Business Parade location in Highbrook, Auckland.

The warehouse facility, boasting a remarkable 6-GreenStar rating, offers a generous 3,500 square meters of warehouse space and 700 square meters of office space spread across two floors. To align this space with Garmin's distinctive brand identity, Cachet Group were engaged to design and construct their new home.

The blank canvas provided Cachet an opportunity to seamlessly incorporate a minimalist and intelligent concept. Subtle nods to the Garmin brand, such as the brand mark and colors, were tastefully integrated throughout the workplace, evident in features like the glass frosting in meeting rooms and wall panelling.

While the upper floors of the commercial interior were purposefully designed for focused work, the ground floor was dedicated to fostering client and staff engagement. A welcoming arrival area greets visitors at the front of the building, guiding them through a branded walkway into the expansive boardroom and the open kitchen and breakout space.

Upstairs, staff have access to a variety of work settings, including designated desks, meeting rooms, booths, and a collaboration nook tailored for focused tasks. The high table at the end of the floorplate provides a picturesque view of the beautiful Highbrook Parklands.

On the ground floor, a seamless connection to the warehouse facility was established. Through collaborative workshops with Garmin's Operational team, Cachet successfully bridged the gap between safety and efficiency for warehouse operations. This involved comprehensive safety assessments, operational flow planning, and optimisation of warehouse functionality.

The project stands as a testament to Cachet's diverse array of specialized services, dedicated to supporting their clients and delivering cutting-edge solutions for their spaces.
