Our retired showhome in Golden Sands sits proudly on a corner site with a classic gabled roof line to each elevation. Lighter exterior tones on the rendered brick and James Hardie Oblique cladding is reminiscent of the beachy setting. The Entry boardwalk sets the tone for the warmer colour palette to the interior, which consists of warm greys, dark oak and white accents that make the house feel inviting and chic.
From the textured battens on the living room wall and pendant light over the kitchen island, it’s a compact plan packed with plenty of features. The Ensuite has been upgraded with brushed nickel tapware, a round mirror and a tiled floor, while the main bathroom has an elegant freestanding bath atop the cosy timber vinyl plank floor.

Rik and Fiona Flowerday have been in the house and land building industry for a long time and have built a strong reputation in the Bay of Plenty.

Flowerday Homes are based in Mount Maunganui in their newly renovated office. Day to day operations are managed by General Manager Daren Green, a widely known and respected figure in the Tauranga construction industry. Daren works closely alongside Rik and Fiona and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
