Located in a semi-rural landscape the 1.98ha property is slightly elevated from the road with a gentle slope falling towards the north. The project brief was to design a large home which responds to the semi-rural nature of the property and captures the views over the landscape towards the north and east.

The concept of a home which represented classic and luxurious living was the inspiration. The spacious and light filled entry to the home sets the scene. Upon entry, stunning views through the building to the landscape beyond are revealed. Large open plan living areas were a must, and the natural, seamless flow of these living areas to the alfresco and pool entertaining area respond to the clients brief perfectly. The separation of the bedrooms from the living areas ensures the residence functions effortlessly as a family home. The 4 car garaging and workshop/storage area link to the home though a glazed foyer which again adds design functionality to the home. The upstairs area above the garage provides a rumpus room and bedroom with ensuite. This area serves as an excellent ‘break out’ space, essentially separated from the main living areas and bedrooms of the home.
