A family that has worked with AOME on several projects acquired a stunning property atop a butte in central Oregon as a second home for recreation with a working office to manage their business interests. The small mountaintop, once an active volcano (now extinct), is perched above a broad plateau, with expansive views to the west of an amazing span of the Cascade range—from Mt. Shasta in California to Mt. Adams & Saint Helens in Washington.
The landscape is simply breathtaking—it begged for a different plan response. The splayed arrangement of the two wings of the home drink in all the sights while pragmatically creating two master suites for extended family.
Enchanting Evening
"During a fundraiser we hosted for a state senator, the mountains were out, the sunset was spectacular and the flow of guests inside and out was perfection. It was an enchanting evening, and we overheard many guests raving about the beauty of our home. It reminded us just how grateful we are for the wonderful thought and care that AOME put into our home." – The homeowner, Chris, quoted in Seattle Homes & Lifestyles
