With the ultimate in mind, this once bare backyard has been transformed into a multi-level resort.

With the large pool area raised by some serious retaining walls and earthmoving, walking out the back doors is now a delight. A raised spa with an infinity edge pouring into the pool and floating bluestone steppers certainly adds to the luxury. The raised garden bed uses random-style paving as a beautiful stone feature alongside the pool. Using a selection of timber, natural stone coloured render, and plants we created the perfect colour palette to surround and complement the aqua blue water. The decking surrounded by plants creates a nice area for lounging while overlooking the new outdoor space.

The detailed timber steps include a built-in daybed contrasting with the random pattern bluestone pad. The luscious lawn area has a large established Japanese Maple providing a stunning backdrop and shade for those hot summer days. At the rear, another level down houses an in-ground trampoline for the kids bordered by Magnolia Teddy Bears. A technical build, our construction team had a fulfilling time building our design departments’ vision. A large balcony deck on the 2nd story has the perfect outlook of the stunning new outdoor area backed by the expansive views over-looking Beaumaris and Port Philip Bay. It’s sunsets every night for this lucky family.
