Client: Generus Living Group

Contractor: Simon Construction

Status: Under construction

Currently under construction and due to be complete mid-2020, this project incorporates 28 luxury independent living apartments across two wings connected by an entry and lounge pavilion. With a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic, the building features spacious apartments with sumptuous finishes and exceptional detailing throughout. Nestled amongst one of the city’s most affluent and historic suburbs, this project demanded a sensitive architectural approach. The careful use of materials and integration of a domestic essence fuses the stately building into its suburban context while successfully uniting the pre-existing Holly Lea facilities with their contemporary counterparts.

About the
Professional

To us, architecture is not about the buildings we design. It’s about the people who inhabit the spaces within and around them. With that in mind, we’re not only accountable to our clients, but also to every person who sets foot inside one of our buildings. It’s a big responsibility which we take very seriously.

IKON is passionate about creating great spaces for working, learning, living and care. We pride ourselves on our meticulous approach which ensures not only the best outcome for each project but also the best process along the way.

Since founding in 1976, we’ve built a rich portfolio of projects across commercial, community, health, multi-use sporting and leisure. Our longevity is a testament to our client and a results-focused team that work towards the same goal: producing the best outcomes for you, your building and those who will use it.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
