By Peter Dunbar Architectural Designer
This Huntsbury Hill home has incorporated three bedroom, multi-functional areas, and large windows to enjoy the views. This design has emerged by blending steel, glass and cedar for this very steep hill site
The brief was to include steampunk and minimalist Japanese architecture styles. The site itself led to a unique approach, by building lightly on the land, it transposed that the garage and entrance way was the only noticeable aspect of this house.
Peter Dunbar’s Christchurch-based architectural design practice is based on these principles:
Creative ideas, with consideration for the environment and the surrounding community
Innovation and excellence, actively involving our clients in the design process.
Listening to our client's wishes, and understanding how they live, so we can design what they want.
The buildings we design reflect our passion for what we do, using the talents of our architectural designers, draughters, illustrators and interior designers in all sectors – residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, community centres, education, and cultural buildings.
