Nestled in the vibrant landscape of Cairns, the JCU Ideas Lab is not just a building; it’s a testament to visionary architectural design fostering innovation and practical solutions. Crafted by Wilson Architects and Clarke and Prince Architects, this transformative space seamlessly translates research, ideas, and ambition into tangible realities with genuine commercial applications.
Blind Systems selected for integration in the Lab’s design included BGS Roller Blinds, BGS Multilink Roller Blinds, Motorised Roller Blinds, and Z1 ZIP Systems to moderate heat and glare while maximising natural light.
Case StudyJames Cook University identified a need to give a modern look to its Townsville Campus to provide improved student services and to support contemporary methods of teaching and learning. BGS Roller Blinds, BGS Multilink Roller Blinds, Motorised Roller Blinds, and Motorised Z1 ZIP Systems were customised to enhance functionality while promoting collaboration and creativity among its users.
