For this Willoughby property, we carried elements of the classic clean-lined design of the formal entry garden through to the back garden's pool, garden and outdoor dining and lounge area. Soft-hued limestone tiles were chosen for the pool surround and entertaining area, and in the front garden we complemented the home's architecture with a herringbone pattern on the driveway and front steps. The large 10.5m x 3.5m swimming pool and surrounds are softened by an expansive zoysia lawn while custom-made day beds create a poolside lounge area. The surrounding garden enhances privacy, and softens and gives scale to the overall back garden. “We are absolutely thrilled with the pool and with the heating the kids have been in it every day since it was completed. We’re really happy with the design and whilst it wasn’t what we originally had in mind it has turned out way better than we expected, so there is a lot to say about expertise!
