Lower Saddle Family Home, North Island banner

This high-performance home, designed to Passive House standards, is nestled in the rural outskirts of North Auckland.

Designed and owned by Joe Lyth from Respond Architects, the project creates a better living environment for a growing family, free from cold, damp and mould.

The home optimises a STIEBEL ELTRON WWK 302 heat pump for energy-efficient hot water. Alongside the LWZ 180 heat recovery ventilation unit, the home has an airtightness of 0.38 at an average of 50 pascals, well under the 0.6 required for a Certified Passive House.

STIEBEL ELTRON is a German company committed to delivering sustainable, energy efficient hot water, heating and ventilation solutions. With a rich heritage of more than 95 years in manufacturing innovative home appliances, we're able to offer you products that will make your home fit for the future.

Electricity is the energy source of the future. Futureproof your home with STIEBEL ELTRON.

We're currently in the midst of an energy revolution, and we can help you futureproof your home. At STIEBEL ELTRON, we were one of the first to realise that electricity is the energy source of the future. It's an infinite resource – unlike oil and gas – so it's eco-friendly and ideal for preserving our natural resources.

We have consistently focused on the development and production of green, energy efficient heating solutions. Whether we're implementing our innovative ideas or creating ground-breaking and sustainable technology, it's our aim to give 100% every time.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
