A transformative kitchen design that seamlessly integrates nature with modern aesthetics, featuring a striking layout, natural materials, and innovative storage solutions to create a bright, inviting space in Seaforth.

Nature to the Front
For this kitchen, our clients wanted a big change. They wanted to bring the outdoors in by using the home’s striking surrounds. Prior to the renovation, our clients’ kitchen was outdated and dark but with our trusted encouragement, they opted to change the layout entirely and maximise the view with a design that offered a much better flow in the home.

As a result, nature is on display, through not only the doors to the patio, but the gorgeous window in place of a splashback, putting you right among the lush green palms.

Keeping the theme of nature in mind, wood grains, flowing lines and softness run through this kitchen design. The curve in the island is the perfect addition to the space, linking the bench to the stunning view from the window. NavUrban’s Ashgrove veneer uses a dark timber grain that compliments the lightness coming through the windows, and though natural, also offers a modernist feel that our clients wanted. Similarly, the sleek grey on the opposing wall also offers both; a natural, earthiness and a modernist appeal. The lighter-coloured timber in the flooring, the pendants and on the bar stool offers a middle ground between the darker veneer and outdoors.

Consideration of appliances help greatly with the overall feel of any kitchen. Here sleek black appliances and tapware were used, while other appliances are integrated behind cabinetry to keep the lines as clean as possible. Adding to this, the push-to-open cabinetry, which removes the need for handles and offers a continued, smooth flow. And to keep lines flowing even more, and surfaces clean, a small step-in cabinet holds frequent-use appliances that would otherwise clutter the benchtop, but here remain behind closed doors when not in use.

“I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for an amazing job on our new kitchen – from Natalie’s design and ideas, through to the well-oiled machines of Living Space, Benchmark and Premier, the whole job ran like clockwork. Fred was an excellent project manager who just got stuff done and made the whole thing very low maintenance for us. We will be recommending Premier far and wide!”
