David Olsen is an Auckland based photographer specialising in architecture and lifestyle. A true commercial photographer that understands the tension between delivering to the creative and technical sides of photography and meeting the client's objective, David is experienced in both residential and commercial architecture. He enjoys working with architectural forms using natural light whenever possible to capture the architect’s intent and showcase the project.
Having gained a Bachelor of Visual Communications (Major in Photography) from Unitech, David worked as an in-house photographer of an advertising agency (Metromedia). Since leaving Metromedia over ten years ago David has been a freelance photographer working across a wide range of industry sectors. As comfortable behind the lens photographing buildings as he is people, David’s work reflects the professionalism and talent for which he is known. He’s an awesome Dad, a great laugh, has a tendency to get sleepy in front of the telly and stress-eats potato chips.
At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
