By MCM House
The vision for our Armadale showroom was inspired by the glamour of Rodeo Drive, perfectly embodied by its iconic corner location. From the first sketches in April and May, the design process unfolded at a rapid pace, fuelled by a cinematic moment of inspiration. A long walk and a discussion about American Gigolo—a film shaped by the creative genius of Giorgio Armani and Giorgio Moroder—set the tone for the showroom's colour palette and aesthetic direction. True to the ethos of all great spaces, the design seamlessly balances high and low, achieved through striking contrasts in textures and surfaces, creating an atmosphere of refined sophistication with a touch of edge.
Founded in 2005 by Charles Hinckfuss, MCM House was born from a desire to create high quality, indoor and outdoor furniture that embodied the relaxed Australian lifestyle.
