Calida Projects and Squillace Architects worked together to complete the Miramare Gardens function centre, undertaking a complete refurbishment of the existing property.
Calida was engaged under an Early Contractor Involvement agreement to complete the works over a 12-week period starting in late 2019 over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The works undertaken consisted of 3 high end ballrooms, each with its own cocktail bar, lobby works, additional function rooms, dine-in wine cellar, lobby bar & terrace as well as an outdoor pavilion & pergola which included landscaping works. Due to the tight project schedule, all materials were manufactured prior to Calida obtaining site possession. This assisted in having the works completed during the business closure periods and achieving an on-time & on-budget delivery of the project.
