Comprehensive restoration of a 1920s building on Auckland's Shore Line, blending Neoclassic and Art Deco influences while creating a relaxed, comfortable workplace environment that highlights the building's original textures and structure.
MOBICO House was a comprehensive restoration of a 1920s building on Aucklands original Shore Line , on Beach Road. The Original Albrookes Warehouse & Office, was then occupied by Auckland Diary Co-op & then later in life Reef Shipping. Design with references to Neoclassic Architecture of the Late 18the Century as well as details from the Art Deco period, we chose to take a que from the Renouned Chicago Waldolf Hotel, where the Hint of copper & gold accents the Armeture of the Building.
The Interior renovation was to expose & compliment the existing textures & structure of the building, with limited insertion of modern office components to create a relaxed , comfortable work place environment.
