Mt Eden Bungalow

This project saw a 1920's bungalow built on volcanic rock go through an extensive alteration and additions process. Due to flood zone restrictions this house has been extended at the upper level taking advantage of the sweeping light we could capture on this north facing site. The extension with its contrasted raked ceilings creates a sense of a spacious living, along with the high level glazing and contrast of finishes throughout, this has become a modern small family home that will remain timeless for the next 100 years.
