A sanctuary with Hamptons style has been created for a retired couple to enjoy the changing of the seasons and create memories with their children and grandchildren.
This modern coastal home is designed with passive design principles, allowing its occupiers to look inward to a secluded courtyard and outwards across the treetops to the ocean beyond from the comfort of a private upstairs deck protected by existing trees.
"We wanted to create a place of calm and solitude," said architect Jessica Murray. "The layout of this house allows it's occupants to take in the beauty of nature while still having all the comforts of home."
Upstairs bedrooms await the arrival of extended family or guests, nestled within mature trees in the front yard with glimpses of the surf coast ocean just beyond. The joint deck brings a whimsical playfulness to these guest bedrooms, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors coming over.
A neutral colour palette carries through both indoors and outdoors, giving this home an effortless elegance that will be timeless for years to come.
This modern coastal sanctuary is designed for luxury living at its finest; providing its occupiers with an oasis away from city life where they can relax, unwind and make lasting memories with their family.
