MYOB have been pioneers in accounting software since the early 1980s, making life easier for business owners through frictionless technology. Not surprisingly, innovation was at the heart of their brief to Cachet when we were appointed to design their new Sydney office at 309 Kent Street.
True to their pioneering culture, MYOB were keen to push the boundaries, wanting a flexible workspace that not only accommodated a wide range of practical requirements across their different teams, but also provided a great space for entertaining guests and clients.
We worked closely with MYOB to understand the needs of their teams and how they interact with each other.
To realise our creative concept of ‘Infinite thinking’, we incorporated key elements of movement and boundless views to showcase the company’s ability to think above and beyond. We also added a ‘wow’ factor with some striking elements, including a pink staircase and dichroic film that changes the look of the space depending on your perspective, all the while reflecting the MYOB brand.
One of MYOB’s key goals was to create one community, so we created a central hub in the heart of the building that’s connected by a staircase to three distinct neighbourhoods.
