Newport Home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches has a stunning coastal vista with a refreshed design inspired by its surrounds. Samantha Eisen Interiors chose materials including micro-cement and stone to bring warmth and texture, while subtle detailing and pattern add coastal character throughout the home. The home’s existing structural elements and architectural lines are softened with curvilinear layouts that are inspired by the shoreline curves.

The significant renovation was a finalist in the NSW Housing Awards. It included a new guest bedroom, office, a redesigned master suite, bathrooms and kitchen. Expella’s flangeless Shadowline Diffuser Round internal grilles feature in all bathrooms and the laundry. This was the perfect choice for a discreet air intake grille that blends with the ceiling, echoing the curves and porthole style windows and openings used in the home’s design. The inline ventilation system is run using Expella’s EMF Inline Mixed Flow Fans, ensuring the newly renovated home is kept moisture free.
