This Northland Home is a modern architectural masterpiece completed in 2022, designed by Gel Architects. Nestled above a picturesque Northland bay, this two-story family home blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape. Designed to provide only the essentials, this bach offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with a focus on simplicity and tranquility.
The building's unique design, featuring extensive wrap-around decking and soaring rooflines, offers breathtaking views of the ocean and native bush. Customised features and bespoke designs such as the custom terrazzo in the bathrooms, showcase the attention to detail and precision that went into creating this serene haven. With low-maintenance materials and a sustainable approach, this home is not only eco-friendly but also built to last.
Gel Architects has created a home that embodies understated elegance. From the carefully selected recycled Australian hardwood weatherboards to the paneled plywood ceilings, every aspect of this home reflects a harmonious blend of architecture and nature.
