Tse were commissioned by APN to provide interior design, architectural and structural design services for NZ Magazines Limited; publishers of The Listener, NZ Woman’s Weekly and Creme. APN asked for the new office fitout to be practical, flexible and to conform to APN’s standards whilst satisfying NZ Magazines wish for a “new look” for their working environment. The project formed the last stage of a major refurbishment and reorganisation of APN’s Albert Street premises. Earlier phases included the refurbishment of the old “Shell House” that had been unoccupied for nearly 30 years. This building was completely gutted and refurbished internally and externally before coming home to APN’s New Zealand.
