This client approached the team at Condon Scott Architects looking to inject a new lease of life into their current home before making the move to Wanaka permanently. The clients love entertaining and are passionate foodies so it was important that the design reflected how they wanted to use the space.

The kitchen design and style was a team effort, cleverly created by Penny from Instinct Interiors and the team at Wanaka Joinery. Once the kitchen design was finalised, we were able to get started on the building work to bring the design to life.

After removing the existing kitchen, our team prepared the area for the new kitchen. As part of this, we project managed and organised our preferred local sub-trades to help get the job done. The space needed fresh paint, new flooring, improved lighting and upgraded plumbing before the joinery could be installed.

The clients were living outside of Wanaka at the time of the build, so a key aspect of this project was ensuring they remained up to date with progress at all times. Our online project management system, Co-Construct, made all communication seamless as the client could view regular photo updates and the upcoming schedule so they could plan their site visits accordingly. We were also able to store all of the clients decisions and changes on their online profile so they weren’t missed during the renovation.
