A transformative landscape project on Paynters Road featuring native plantings, raised timber jetties, vegetable gardens, and a harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Construction & maintenance by Vavasour Landscapes. Design by Heidi Stewart, Landscape Architect, Canopy.
The landscape construction project in Paynters Road started as a complete blank canvas. Creating a connection between the inside and the outside was achieved through clever landscape design.
An extensive plant list of predominately native plantings with a focus on texture, form, and suitability. Raised timber jetties made from renewable sources lead to both formal and informal areas. Raised vegetable gardens, spa pool, children’s play area, and courtyard. Exposed concrete is complimented by a large turf area and copse of candelabra pears that run to the surrounding vineyards.
