Plumpton Hotel

Calida Projects were engaged by the Laundy Hotel group for the construction and refurbishment of the Plumpton Hotel.
The works consisted of demolishing the existing bistro, amenities, back of the house and external beer garden at the front and redeveloping and joining the new building with the current building. Internally the space was eloquently divided into a number of areas including a new covered outdoor terrace, bar, bistro, lounge, function room, amenities and kids' play area.
Features of the hotel include a beautiful 360 degree fire place in the centre of the outdoor terrace, Newport rock cladding around the fire place and western walls, exposed black trusses in the function room and feature metal ceiling panels and bespoke joinery.
The project commenced in August 2015, with the construction taking 4 months to December 2015 alongside Bergstrom Architects.
