A contemporary restoration of a charming 1930s brick home in Canterbury, blending original Art Deco features with modern design to create a functional and beautiful forever home for a family of four.
Project Claude is a 1930’s brick home in Canterbury that is oozing old world charm. She was most certainly in need of a refresh and update; so we set to work on creating a “forever home” for a lovely family of four. Claude was already graced with a beautiful original terrazzo porch, as was common place for Art Deco homes of the time. The front porch, along with other beautiful deco features throughout, inspired the design and the materials & finishes palette for the contemporary restoration and extension of this home.
We are so proud to have played a part in creating this functional and beautiful forever home.
