Picchio Interiors is a residential interior design & decoration studio based in Melbourne.

Picchio Interiors was founded by Anna Wood, our principal designer. Anna’s career began as a Chartered Accountant and she worked for many years in a corporate environment. She always had a keen interest in interiors and noticed how a well designed office space, (both functionally and aesthetically) translated to workplace morale and productivity. It is our view that the home is no different. Great design in the home, has a profound impact on our sense of well-being, security, and feelings of happiness.

In 2014, Anna commenced a Certificate IV in Interior Design & Decoration at RMIT and upon completion in 2015, she left corporate life to pursue a career in design. Anna went on to complete a Diploma of Interior Design and now also has seven years of valuable experience in the field.

Also a keen renovator, Anna has first-hand experience in being both the designer and the client. She understands the importance of clear communication, budgeting, and project management.

At Picchio, we take the stress out of renovating and building. We are careful listeners, and provide designs and selections that are fit for purpose and that meet our client’s brief.

We pride ourselves on producing very visual, detailed documentation to both our clients and their builders alike. Our clients can imagine themselves in their new space before the first brick is laid and trades know exactly what the construction plan looks like from the outset of the project.
