The Pukenui swimming pool project is a great example of working collaboratively with great clients and contractors.
StonecraftNZ was involved in supplying design and technical information from the beginning of the project which enabled a smooth construction process to get the desired outcome for our client. A swimming pool such as this has a high degree of complexity to create an overall simple minimalist effect. Most of this is hidden, including the automatic pool cover that operates out from the floor of the pool.
In adverse weather conditions, the pool water level can be lowered into balance tanks to bypass the infinity edge. This pool has custom-designed swimmers built in to enable exercises and is also chlorine-free. Sanitation is provided for by the Enviroswim system. Pumps are variable speed to save electricity and the filter media is glass providing excellent filtration. This pool is finished in Royal Blue Quartzon against a dark blue glass mosaic tile band giving it a deep blue hue. Heating is provided for by 3 phase Heatpumps built by Hotwater Heatpumps.
All in all a beautiful home and pool, a pleasure to work on with all involved.

Ross and his team run the concrete construction and infrastructure sector of the company. He is a specialist in all things concrete with years of experience. Jody runs swimming pool projects and contracts requiring a high level of attention to detail and management. He is a versatile and knowledgeable tradesman and leader
Management in construction projects, building, brick and block laying, and stone masonry is provided by Colin Gillies and his teams. This has seen the successful completion of numerous commercial and infrastructure-related contracts over the years.
