Quail Rise Home banner

This contemporary bach in Quail Rise has family at its heart. With large living spaces, four bedrooms and three bathrooms it’s designed to accommodate sixteen. This home won Masterbuilders House of the Year Gold in 2017.

The bunk room sleeps eight, while the main bathroom can be used by several people at once, with its toilet and shower shut off by glass doors from the sink and tub area. The master bedroom with ensuite offers extra comfort and privacy to the owners.

Brilliant outdoor design allows for a variety of experiences with a barbecue, outdoor cooking fire, pizza oven, spa and sun deck. There’s exceptional indoor-outdoor flow from the “great room” and you can keep an eye of things from the TV room too.

Simple construction, durable surfaces, low-maintenance finishes and plantings have reduced cost where appropriate. Thermally broken joinery, high-level insulation and a diesel fire underfloor-heating system keep the home warm.

A wood fire provides lovely ambience. With 41 people in and out over the holidays, this grand bach proved fit for purpose.
