This renovation reworks a 1960s Lockwood home in Raumati Beach for contemporary everyday living. The client, Liz, wanted to revitalise the existing house while making more of its coastal setting.
Soft, warm materials bring a comfortable character to the interiors. The exterior work includes new cladding, roofing, insulation, windows and doors, coordinating the renewed appearance with practical improvements to the building.
The project also includes a new infill dwelling at the back of the property, with two bedrooms and a deck overlooking Kāpiti Island.
