Complete reconstruction of the Royal Dental Hospital rooftop terrace, featuring a curved steel roof with motorised louvres, BBQ and kitchen facilities, and picnic-style seating, executed with precision to minimize disruption to adjacent surgical suites.
Demolition of the existing roof and complete construction of the new rooftop terrace area for staff and visitors.
Due to construction above a fully functional hospital, all materials and equipment for the project could only be loaded via the side access road on weekends or out of hours. Works were conducted directly adjacent to the surgical suites so had to be constructed with the utmost care and consideration of noise.
Works included a curved steel roof incorporating motorised louvres, BBQ and kitchen facilities and picnic style seating area
