The exterior of this sprawling new home set on the banks of the rambling Tahiki river reflects the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Inside; the huge lofted ceilings give the interior rooms space to take a few risks with colour and pattern. The clients have filled the open plan living spaces with beloved family memorabilia and hints of their love for everything outdoors. The kitchen designed and built by Superior Kitchens is classically formal, with marble tops from Italian Stone, sinks from Burns and Ferrall and Tapware by Robertson. The home is filled with beautiful tiles from Tile Warehouse including the timber look ‘Crosswood’ series in the master ensuite. Grandchildren running riot through the corridors is no problem for the ‘Verve’ range of solution-dyed nylon carpet from Bremworth. The home is beautifully finished with lighting from Lighthouse Remuera and furnishings and drapes by The Furnishing Room.
