A stunning new build in a tightly held coastal community makes a powerful statement in slim-line Viblock pressed concrete bricks.
At Sumner House, concrete Viblock bricks have been used outside and inside to create a strong and consistent design language that complements the exposed coastal location perfectly. With careful planning and meticulous attention to detail, the Slim-format Viblock bricks and random bond create a timeless finish that adds a genuine strength of character to the house. In particular, the random bond pattern is a detail that looks effortless, but doing it well takes a lot of traditional craftsmanship and experience. To create an effortless-looking effect, it’s necessary to be constantly thinking ahead to make sure the pattern feels natural, with no obvious repetition.
