Surf Street

Defined by a moody monochromatic palette and refined contemporary detailing, Surf Street House balances sculptural form with warm, liveable interiors. Designed by Huntress and Hound, the project reimagines the existing family home through a series of immersive spaces that celebrate both functionality and atmosphere. Tasked with enhancing the home’s internal and external living areas, the studio introduced a minimal yet richly layered material palette of grey marble, timber veneer and blackened accents. At the centre of the home, the kitchen combines custom joinery and tactile finishes to create a timeless hub for entertaining, while sculptural cabinetry and the shrouded fireplace add depth and visual contrast throughout the interior. The Tenn Up Pendant in Black Finish with a black cap complements the home’s dramatic material palette, bringing both functional uplighting and understated warmth to the central living spaces.
