A harmonious garden design featuring distinct micro-climates, utilizing steel, copper, stone, concrete, and timber to enhance the natural beauty and functionality of the landscape, completed in 2016 in Longueville.
This garden contained two distinct micro-climates. The front garden was protected from winds and enjoyed a nice amount of afternoon shade. The waterside garden where views were a priority, was exposed to southerly winds and afternoon sun. Smart construction detailing using steel, copper, stone, concrete and timber enhance the finishes found on the house and deliver the earthy nature that the client enjoyed. As usual with our gardens the right balance between hard and soft is key as are the plant selections to ensure success.
