An enticing space proving you don’t need a large block for a luxury lifestyle!
Designed to complement the architecture of the house and to bring a seamless experience of indoor-outdoor living, our creative director Sean Dowling has transformed this once weary and unloved space into a luxe living retreat in the heart of Melbourne. With bamboo along the boundary fences growing tall for privacy, it gives a feel of a private tropical villa.
The infinity-edge pool was designed to sit beside the clients’ existing above-ground spa and is a striking feature of a night from inside the home. Heated up to a beautiful temperature of 30 degrees, it’s all year round for this pool and spa.
An array of plants including Senecio mandraliscae (Blue Chalk Sticks), Festuca glauca, Xanthorrhoea johnsonii (Grass Tree), and Dichondra repens growing around the natural bluestone pavers provides a perfect contrast to the spotted gum decking and timber screens. The backlit corten steel Chicago skyline was designed by us specifically for our client from Chicago, who now has the perfect home away from home. We are thrilled how this unique space has come together for some truly incredible clients.
