The Cav: A historic Ponsonby pub reimagined as a gastro pub, blending traditional roots with modern fit-out excellence by Burning Red Design, offering diverse spaces for patrons while preserving its rich heritage.
The Cavalier recently renamed as The Cav has been a feature of the pub scene in Ponsonby for over 150 years, with its reinvention as a gastro Pub, The Cav has been given a new sense of identity yet maintaining its traditional roots and ancestry. Preserving the historical influence was a priority. The quality of the fit out and attention to detail by Burning Red Design show an integrity to the complexity of a modern fit out whilst maintaining historical accuracy and meeting the needs of a commercial space. Spaces have been designed to allow patrons to enjoy a variety of settings giving the customer and the proprietor the options of private spaces and lounge areas.
