An interior fit out of the new Events space for The Grounds of Alexandria. This included the façade works to the western side as well as minor base build elements that were completed as part of Calida’s fit out.
The construction of the Events space for The Grounds was completed in 39 weeks by Calida. There was demolition, screw piling, concrete & inground drainage works in the early days of the project. This progressed to large and major structural works to form the new space, as well as all custom made finishes that ranged from joinery, timber flooring, liberty stone render to the walls & ceilings, as well as curved profiles made out of plaster & stone that was supplied from Italy.
Overall, an extremely unique project that isn’t often seen or delivered in such a historical space as the Locomotive tenancies.
