Papamoa Holiday Pool Zone

A resort-style coastal haven on beautiful Papamoa Beach. This family retreat at the Tauranga Holiday Park needed a focus for fun and relaxation for the whole family. This massive commercial project – consisting of developing a new pool recreation zone for the Tauranga Holiday Park – was part of a Design and Build project by Watts and Hughes. To ensure a high quality finish that will last a lifetime on a freeform pool of this scale, Mayfair’s proprietary fibreglassing system was the perfect solution. The design included the large freeform pool with incorporated splash deck for the littler guests, ramps, steps, and building in seating. The location of this development was in a central area of the holiday park which remained operational for the duration of the project. Pool lighting was also installed to lengthen swimming hours, and to highlight the pool area at night. What the client has to say… "Our pool precinct is more than just a refreshing dip – it’s a vibrant hub of activity and relaxation. Whether you’re basking in the sun on our comfortable loungers or making a splash in the inviting waters, our pool precinct is the heart of our holiday park.” Pool features: Size: Freeform 33m x 19m Depth: From 300mm splashdeck to 1.5m deep Customised shape Colour: White Below was all supplied by Austral Pool & Spa Products Maxum 6hp 3 Phase Pumps x 3 Emaux NL1600 1600mm Diameter Media Filters x 3 Oasis 200kw Heat Pumps x 2 Equalising Valve System 200mm x 1 Pool design and build: Mayfair Pools Tauranga & Whakatane – Baywide Pools Architect: Stufkens & Chambers Architects Contractors: Watts & Hughes
