The owners of this Castlecrag home wanted their under-utilised rooftop garden transformed for entertaining large groups of friends and for casual lounging. We designed and constructed a floating bluestone viewing bar and installed built-in gas and charcoal barbecues to create a functional and inviting entertaining area, while a custom curved hardwood daybed and firepit provides a year-round lounging zone. The existing pool and surrounds also required a complete redesign, focusing on space efficiencies. While the creation of a curved deck cantilevered over the pool was the first step to achieving this, the extension of the tiled pool surround elevated the pool use to another level. The owners of this Castlecrag home wanted their under-utilised rooftop garden transformed for entertaining large groups of friends and for casual lounging.
