Thirsty Acres, completed in 2023, a remarkable project that embodies the essence of a farmhouse-style building. After a devastating fire in 2019, the anticipation for the rebuild of this iconic country pub was palpable within the local community. The design, inspired by an old weathered barn, features our exquisite Antique Oak custom weatherboards that elegantly adorn the structure.
Utilising our 300-year-old European barn timber as weatherboards, the finished building stands as a true piece of art, showcasing the craftsmanship and quality that Hardwood Timbers NZ is renowned for. The attention to detail and precision in every aspect of the project reflects the dedication to delivering excellence in every project we undertake. "Thirsty Acres" is a testament to the resilience and determination of both the community and the artisans involved, creating a space that exudes warmth and charm.
