Titirangi Reno and Unit

This home in Woodfern Crescent, Titirangi was completely modernised and renovated, with a new layout for open plan living. We widened the internal stairway and installed a new skylight to let in lots of natural light and welcome people into the new foyer area. We installed new timber cladding and aluminium joinery, and undertook a complete re-roof. The existing deck was significantly extended and a hidden laundry was added inside the internal access garage. How to add a new self contained unit? This was added under the existing home for extra accommodation. 1. A digger was used to excavate under the existing home and add self-contained accommodation for the owners' adult child. 2. The lovely open plan space has a bedroom, living area and kitchenette. 3. There is also a bathroom, and a laundry hidden tidily away behind cupboard doors. 4. The sheltered patio area provides a lovely outdoor space.
