Transformation of a 1930s cottage into a cohesive family home, enhancing its charm and functionality while embracing the beauty of the Akatarawa Valley.
This home started it's life as 1930's cottage in the Akatarawa Valley. Subsequent owners gave it a 1970s facelift — but after 30 years was looking tired. The challenge for the current owners was to take a home that had undergone multiple alterations and create a comfortable, cohesive family home that made optimal use of its delightful setting. These images show the result.
