Waterfront House, Lyttelton Port banner

Set on the coastal edge, Botanic worked closely together with Athfield Architects to develop a series of welcoming outdoor amenity spaces for staff and visitors at Waterfront House at Lyttelton Port. Landscaped spaces including an entry walkway, a rear lunch courtyard and BBQ space, picnic terrace and lawn.  The landscape design plays on the contrasts between industrial setting and the natural coastal environment. The spaces created provide port workers a place to relax and enjoy the waters edge and a green space in contrast to the indoor office or working port environment.
