Coastal feel with a Mediterranean vibe.
This run down motel on the spectacular NSW South Coast was completely renovated and opened up again in October 2022, offering a unique seaside experience. The beach adjacent boutique motel features Moroccan inspired decor and Mediterranean feels throughout.
We were tasked with all outdoor renovations including the pool, alfresco and all gardens. Working alongside Richard Stanisich architects Exterior Architecture created an outdoor space where visitors can laze by the pool, enjoy drinks and a BBQ under the cabana or take a stroll through the Olive trees in the gardens.
The planting selection was carefully chosen, keeping in mind both the site's coastal location and climate while playing on nostalgia with an eclectic mixture of succulents, Olive trees and colourful flowering plants spread throughout.
