Located in Ashfield, West Ashfield Leagues is one of Sydney’s premier clubs. Within its dining precinct is the Wok On Chinese Restaurant designed by award-winning interior architects X+O.

LightCo supplied the Moby Dick pendant light designed by Italian designer Matteo Ugolini for Karman.

Inspired by Migaloo, the infamous white whale from the novel Moby Dick, this sculpted light is made from fibreglass. When illuminated, the fibres in the shade provide a wonderfully textural and warm glow.

A cluster of six Moby Dicks – three medium and three large – create a dramatic focal point in the restaurant. The ethereal quality of the lights contrasts with the dark and moody scheme throughout.
