This modern kitchen and walk-in pantry renovation in Balgowlah (near Manly) accentuates how the combination of natural stone and Hampton’s shaker-style joinery combine together for timeless appeal.
During our initial consultation at the Northern Beaches property, our kitchen design team discussed with the client their ‘must haves’. These included a large, French door fridge with a water dispenser for the kids, a wine fridge for the parents, a combination oven and a large gas cooktop for family meals and cook-ups.
The removal of an adjoining wall vastly increased the space available for the renovation. Wall removal is often overlooked by property owners, yet it can make an enormous difference, opening up greater design possibilities.
With respect to this Balgolwah kitchen renovation, the extra space meant we were able to comfortably integrate the large, 90cm French door fridge.
Additionally, our design team introduced a large, walk-in pantry and central island bench with plenty of room for seating. A lot of extra storage could also be added.
The stunning marble was used, without abound, on the benchtops, splashback and in the pantry.
Additionally, engineered timber flooring, in a classic Herringbone pattern, was laid throughout the home creating a sense of warmth and style.
The finished result was a large, family-friendly kitchen with a seamless, open plan flow and abundant light. There is little doubt it will become a central feature of the property.
