Our ‘Tree House’ Project was recently featured in the GT Home Magazine by Nicole Mayne.

‘Living in a treehouse is the stuff that childhood dreams are made of. The chance to make it a reality wasn’t lost on Debbie and Glenn Garnaut when a rare riverfront block hit the market in Barwon Heads.

The couple had been living in the US but the parcel of land, which backs onto a bush reserve, was the perfect drawcard for their return to Australia.

With their hearts set on a sustainable home that fitted into the riverside environment, they engaged RUBI Architects to bring their vision to life.

The result is a beautiful two-storey house clad largely in spotted gum that melds into the surrounding tree canopy’.
