Facing high foot traffic and a harsh coastal environment, the high-performance, eco friendly CUTEK Wood Preservative was the answer for Brisbane City Council’s restoration of the Shorncliffe Pier.
An icon of the South-East Queensland shoreline, the Shorncliffe Pier was rebuilt in 2016 after the original boardwalk suffered significant decay from marine borers and termites.
CUTEK Wood Preservative, is an oil-based product that protects exterior coated wood against mould, fungal decay and termites in industrial and domestic spaces.
The penetrating timber preservative is easy to maintain with a hot pressure wash.
CUTEK is not brought out by water, making it a safe product for use in this environment.
